On 24/12/2021, a seminar was organised by the department of Folklore Suren Das College Hajo. The topic of the seminar was "Folkliterature and Folklife". Dr. Ali Akbar Hussain, vice principal and head of the dept. English Suren Das College Hajo was the resource person. He delivered a lecture on folkliterature, characteristics of folkliterature. Ms. Monmi Kakati , head of the dept Folklore , gave the significance of the seminar.In that seminar about 55 students and 5 teachers of the college were present.
