Major Objectives

Introduction:

On the 11th of April 2023, Department of Physics, Suren Das College Hajo, visited the Center of Plasma Physics-Institute for Plasma Research as part of an educational tour. The purpose of the visit was to provide the students with an opportunity to learn about the research being conducted by CPR in the field of plasma physics.

 

 

Objectives:

The primary objectives of the visit were as follows:

-   To introduce the students to the field of plasma physics and its applications.

 

-   To expose the students to the research being conducted by CPR in the field of plasma physics.

-   To provide the students with an opportunity to interact with the researchers and staff of CPR and learn from their experiences.

 

 

Activities:

During the visit, the students undertook the following activities:

-   Participated in a guided tour of the CPR facilities and laboratories.

-   Observed the experiments being conducted by the researchers at CPR.

-   Learned about the various applications of plasma technology in industry, healthcare, and energy production.

-   Had an interactive session with the researchers and staff of CPR.

 

 

Outcomes-

Based on the observations and interactions with the researchers and staff of CPR, the students identified the following findings:

-   Plasma technology has numerous applications in various fields, including industry, healthcare, and energy production.

-   The research being conducted by CPR in the field of plasma physics is highly specialized and requires advanced technologies and equipment.

-   The researchers and staff of CPR are highly qualified and experienced, and their work has the potential to make a significant impact on society.

-   The visit provided the students with a unique learning experience and helped to broaden their understanding of the field of plasma physics.

 

Conclusion:

The visit to the Center for Plasma Research in Guwahati was a valuable educational experience for the students of Suren Das College. The visit provided the students with an opportunity to learn about the applications of plasma technology and the research being conducted in the field of plasma physics. The visit also allowed the students to interact with the researchers and staff of CPR and learn from their experiences. Overall, the visit was a success, and the students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to participate in such a unique learning experience
