On 23rd March 2023, the Department of Assamese, Suren Das College, Hajo, Assam, arranged an educational tour to Jimirigaon, Kamrup. The visit included a group of 35 students, accompanied by five faculty members. During the tour, the students collected data on the language, literature, and culture of the Rabha tribe at Jimirigaon.
