Major Objectives

The Department has celebrated National Human Rights Day on 10^th December 2021. The program is chaired by Dr. Ramen Medhi, HOD of Department of Political Science. Dr. Ripima Bujarbaruah, Associate Professor of Department of Political Science delivers a lecture as a speaker of this program. In her lecture, she highlights on various vital aspects of Human Rights related issues and problems keeping conformity with the 2021 theme “Equality, Reducing Inequalities and Advancing Human Rights”. Dr. Arup Kumar Deka, Assistant Professor, department of Political Science, briefly explains about the significance of Documentary show “Jai Bhim” which beautifully reflects the issues of tribal rights and their struggle for protection of themselves.
