The purpose of  plantation is to save the endangered environment and to beautify our life . It preserve biodiversity, conserve water, control climate etc. This type of plantation programme enhances the knowledge of environment ethics for students both theoritically and practically.

            Plantation programme had organized by Philosophy Department, Suren Das College with NSS unit on the occassion of "Gandhi Jayanti " . Principal Dr. Hirayana kr.Sarma , Vice Principal Dr. Ali Akbar Hussain , esteemed colleagues and students are also presented in this programme .

        In this occassion essay compitition also organized by Philosophy Department . Result and prize distribution of this compitition are also completed at that time .
