A one-day orientation programme was organized by the NSS unit of Suren Das College, Hajo with the theme “Importance of NSS at College Level” on 1st September,2018. Dr.Ranjan Kr. Kakati, Director, Students’ Welfare and NSS programmeco-ordinator of Gauhati University and Mr. Hemanta Kr. Rabha, Sr.Project officer, IIE, Guwahati were present as resource persons. The programme was chaired by Dr. Hiranya Kr.Sarma, Principal of the College. About 250 students and teachers were present in the programme.
