Activities Carried out / Detail Description of the Programme

A team of 28 students under the supervision of Dr. Ripima Buzarbaruah and Dr. Arup Kr. Deka visited Assam Legislative Assembly on 14th September, 2017. The visit was conducted as per the Govt. scheme "Exposure visit of students to the Assam Legislative Assembly" under Parliamentary Affairs Ministry. The students got the opportunity to view the Assembly proceedings. After Assembly Session, the Ministry arranged for an interaction session for students in the Central Hall, with the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr. Chandra Mohan Patowary, Ms Suman Haripriya, MLA, Hajo LAC and Mr. Rekibuddin Ahmed, MLA, Chaygaon LAC. Certificates were awarded to the students for visiting the Assembly.
