On account of World environment day, 2018 the Extension cell of Suren Das College, Hajo organized an essay competition on the topic "Natural Environment and Our Responsibilities" among the students of Class 9th and 10th of RBK Anchalik High school and Manikut High school as both the schools are adopted by the college for their all round upliftment besides education.

Name of prize winners are as follows : 1st Prize : Taznin Sultana & Doli Das (Jointly)

2nd prize : Tina Baruah & Canika Sultana (Jointly)

3rd prize : Amina Begum & Nazmin Nehar (Jointly)
