Major Objectives

The IIC, Suren Das College, Hajo, Assam organized a lecture session on the topic “BUSINESS MODEL CANVAS” on 30^th August, 2023. A group of 130 students and 13 faculty members took part in the entire session.  The expert speaker was Dr. Dipankar Malakar, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University. Dr. Dipankar started the session with the introduction of Business Model Canvas. He explained the importance of Business Model Canvas for entrepreneurship taking into consideration the organization structure, processes and systems. He also discussed about the Value Proposition Canvas in which he touched upon the customer segments and types of markets viz. Mass, Niche and Segmented. The students asked many queries which were satisfactorily answered by him in the session. He also gave a lot of examples related to all such topics which are important in starting any such type of business. The program ended at 1:30 pm with vote of thanks by Dr. Sangita Medhi.
