The major objective of the programme was to comprehend the trajectory of world politics during the Covid 19 pandemic while the virus gripped the entire world. Understanding Nature of polarisation and how the evolving situation might effect the third world countries like India, Bangladesh, Pakistant, etc. was the major thrust of the Webinar.

The Webinar was started with Welcome speech given by principal of the College, Dr. Hiranya kr. Sarma followed by keynote address by Coordinator, IQAC, Dr. Ripima Buzarbaruah. Prof (Dr.) Nani Gopal Mahanta, Department of Political science, Gauhati University, graced the occasion as Resource Person who spoke on the four Blocks that the Countries have fallen into. Dr. Mahanta also spoke on the implications of QUAD, NATO, Chino-Ruusain ties and such other allied issues of world politics.
