The major objective of the webinar was to have a comprehensive idea about NEP 2020 that have many wide remifications for the HEIs. The other objectives of the webinar was to have insights and understanding of the imeplementing strategies that the govt and the HEI have to pursue.

The National webinar was conducted through Google Meet platform from  11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Session started with Welcome address by the principal of the College, Dr. hiranya Kr. Sarma, followed by the introductory remarks by co-ordinator, IQAC, Dr. Ripima Buzarbaruah. Prof (Dr.) Nani Gopal Mahanta, Dept. of Political Science, Gauhati University, Guwahati, and Dr. Biren Das, Registrar, Tezpur University, were invited as Resource Persons to illuminate the audience on the issues of NEP 2020 and how the provisions of NEP could be implemented successfully. The deliberation session strated with the speeech of the Resource person, Dr. Biren Das who highlighted major objectives as well as provisions of implemetation of NEP 2020. Dr. Nani Gopal Mahanta expressed regret for his inability to attend the session on his urgent office business. 

The deliberation session was followed by an interaction session when the teachers exchanged their views as well put questions on the allied issues of NEO 2020. The Webinar concluded with vote of thanks given by Biswajit Kalita.
