The Webinar started with Welcome speech given by the Principal of the College, Dr. Hiranya kumar Sarma follwed by inaugural speech given by Dr. Sarat Borkataki, Principal Nowgong College, Nagaon, President, ACPC. Mr. Chandan Talukdar Treasurer Gauhati University, Guwahati graced the occasion as Resource person. Mr. Talukdar deliberated on various aspects of General Financial Rules issued by the Govt.
After the Deliberation sessions the participants from the various institutions raised queries regarding some provisions of General Financial Rules (GFR) on issues such as tendering process, e-procurement process and tools, etc.
The programme started at the schduled time of 11.30 a.m. and concluded at 1:00 p.m. Mr. Biswajit Kalita, Assistant Professor in English cum Assistant Coordinator, IQAC, Suren Das College, Hajo moderated the session.
