The Maintenance of Discipline and Anti-Ragging Cell functions for maintaining  discipline and anti-ragging alongwith any kind of student related grievence and Code of Conduct related matters.

Constitution of the Committee:

Maintenance of Discipline and Anti-Ragging Cell

The institution, Suren Das College, Hajo, adopts strict anti-ragging policy which was specified by the UGC dated April 2009, NO. F 1-16/2007 (CPP-II), in order to curb the menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions. Accordingly, the college constituted Anti Ragging Committee comprising the following portfolios:

Awareness program on professional conduct and guidelines for students

To aware of the student about the moral values of conduct, awareness programme on professional conduct and ethics was organized for TDC 1st semester students (Arts and Science) on 15th and 20th september 2021 (at the time of admission) by Maintenence of discipline and Anti Ragging Committee and it was chaired by the Principal of the college. The IQAC coordinator delivered her speech on principles and practices of morals such as what is good or bad for the people, what ought or ought not to be done in handling a situation etc. and the duties and responsibilities of students inside and outside the college campus.

The Maintenance of Discipline and Anti Ragging Committee( Code of Conduct Monitoring Committee) organized an awreness programme forv the teaching and the non teaching staff of the college on peofessional conduct and guidelines on 07-10-2020 chaired by Dr. Hiranya kr. Sarma, Principal of the college. Dr. Ripima BuzarBaruah, coordinator of IQAC cell spoke on morality of professional conduct.
