On 5th january 2022, ICGC of the college organised a campus selection programme for selecting students for cdertificate course on Graphics & Web-Designing offered by TOOL Room, MSME, Amingaon Guwahati. A total of about 150 students were present and after a brief interview by the expert from MSME, 70 students were selected for the said course. The course will be offered by MSME at our college campus. 

The following student of B.Voc in Dress Desining & Tailoring of our college participated in  " HANDLOOM DESIGN (MANUAL)" COURSE , Sponsored by Government of India, Ministry of Textiles.

Major Objectives

This program was organized by the ICGC to select students for placement through a short-term training program by Skill India, Guwahati. The institution signed an MOU with Skill India in the year 2019 as a knowledge partner. In the program, a total of 125 students were present. Mr. Anjan Choudhury, Director, Skill India associated with other officials were present as a resource person. Later on, a total of 21 students were selected for placement through short-term training by Job Hut.

Major Objectives

Theatre-In-Education Workshop under the extension program of Northeast was held at Suren Das College, Hojo, Assam in collaboration with NSD, Tripura Wing. These three days workshop from 23 to 25h October 2017 was highly practical in nature giving participants the opportunity to experience a wide range of tried and tested technique of the TIE method. The particular focus of this workshop conducted by a TIE graduate was on "Acting for Creativity".
