    ·         Working as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in Suren Das College, from Dec, 2020– Present.

·         Worked as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in Assam Don Bosco University, from February, 2011– December, 2020.

·         Teaching Assistant at Tezpur University, Napaam, August, 2008 – 2009.

·         Worked as a faculty of Mathematics in Pinewood Junior College, Tinsukia , August, 2004 – August,  2007.

·      Research experience of 6 years in Number Theory influenced by Ramanujan, under the supervision of  Prof. Nayandeep Deka Baruah, Professor of Mathematics, Tezpur Central University and 4 years of research experience as a supervisor in Assam Don Bosco University.

Major Objectives

March 14 is celebrated as the International Day of Mathematics, because the value of mathematical constant Pi is approximately 3.14.

The main objective behind the celebration is to inculcate young students' interest in mathematics by organizing Pi recital competition, Pi-day-themed workshops, lectures, seminars among other events.

This year in 2021, the theme of International Day of Mathematics is "Mathematics for a Better World".

The National Mathematics Day organized by Suren Das College, Hajo and Aryabhatta Science Centre, Hajo on 22nd December is effectively completed.This will definitely increase the interest in Mathematics and science which is essentially required for scientific development of the country.

On the occasion, a day long programme was held with great enthusiasm. In the morning session, a Science and Mathematical Modeling competition was held among the school children participated from different schools of the locality. In the afternoon session, a prize distribution ceremony was held.
