Introduction

The department of Philosophy has been an inherent part of Suren Das College, Hajo since 2003.This department offers higher secondary and degree as per the prescribed syllabus of AHSEC and Gauhati University respectively .

Vision

  The department of Philosophy gives emphasis on Indian Philosophy, Western Philosophy, Logic, Ethics, Environmental Ethics etc. The vision of the department is to help students to apply theoretical as well as practical principles to the various problems and thereby effectively handle issues in day to day life .

      * The department is committed to translate the vision into reality .

      * To provide the basic knowledge regarding Critical Reasoning, philosophical theories and thoughts, so that they can confidently appear in any competitive examination.
